Training Material

  • The Career Development Program was developed by the Water Survey of Canada to train hydrometric technologists in the concepts and techniques of water quantity surveys using a planned training program that starts with basic methods and then successively develops the technologist's knowledge and competence to the fully qualified technologist. The training program provides classroom instruction and on-the-job instruction with certification of competence by the supervisor. There are over 30 training modules covering various elements of data acquisition and computation.
