Status of Quebec Waterfowl Populations, 2009 is intended to provide an up-to-date picture of the status of waterfowl species in Quebec. For each of the 37 species annually present (as a breeder, a migrant or a winterer) in the province, a text provides an overview of seasonal occurrence, an assessment of provincial and continental population trends, a description of conservation issues, and the importance of the role played by Quebec in its conservation.
