Bird Conservation Strategy for Bird Conservation Region 9 in Pacific and Yukon Region: Great Basin

cover of publication

Environment Canada led the development of all-bird conservation strategies in each of Canada's Bird Conservation Regions (BCRs), which will serve as a basis for implementing bird conservation across Canada, and will also guide Canadian support for conservation work in other countries important to Canada's migrant birds. The strategy for BCR 9 of the Pacific and Yukon Region: Great Basin provides information on priority bird species present in that region, as well as their population objectives, their habitats, their threats, and recommended conservation objectives and actions.
