Canada Water Act Annual Report for April 2013 to March 2014

The Canada Water Act provides the framework for cooperation with provinces and territories in the conservation, development, and utilization of Canada's water resources. Section 38 of the Act requires that a report on the operations under the Act be laid before Parliament after the end of each fiscal year. The report describes a wide range of federal activities conducted under the authority of the Act, including participation in federal-provincial agreements, significant water research and a public information program. This report covers progress on these activities from April 2013 to March 2014.
