Regulations Amending the Sulphur in Gasoline Regulations (Miscellaneous Program) (SOR/2009-93)

The Regulations Amending the Sulphur in Gasoline Regulations (Miscellaneous Program) [hereinafter referred to as the "proposed Amendments"], made pursuant to section 140 of the Canadian Environmental Protection Act, 1999 (CEPA 1999), were developed to address recommendations made by the Standing Joint Committee for the Scrutiny of Regulations. While the proposed Amendments are of an administrative nature, they are required to improve the clarity of the Sulphur in Gasoline Regulations (hereinafter referred to as the "Regulations") as well as to achieve consistency between the English and French versions of the Regulations.
