Regulations Amending the Sulphur in Gasoline Regulations (SOR/2003-319)

This statement describes the Regulations Amending the Sulphur in Gasoline Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the amendments. The Sulphur in Gasoline Regulations, hereinafter referred to as the Regulations, were published in the Canada Gazette, Part II, on June 23, 1999. The Regulations set limits on the amount of sulphur in gasoline produced, imported or sold. The Regulations limit sulphur in gasoline to an average level of 30 mg/kg with a never-to-be-exceeded maximum of 80 mg/kg.
